Bank of America members get free Figge admission

Bank of America, Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders can get free admission to the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd Street, Davenport, this weekend and the first full weekend of every month.

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

“Bank of America believes the arts have a unique ability to connect people and communities and help local economies thrive,” according to a bank release Wednesday.

Through Museums on Us, Bank of America provides its cardholders with free access during the first full weekend of every month to artistic and cultural experiences in Iowa at celebrated institutions ranging from art, children’s and history museums to aquariums, botanical gardens, and science centers.

“This is one example of how the bank strengthens the local communities it serves in, creates greater cultural understanding, and expands accessibility to the arts,” the release said.

The promotion includes free admission to the Science Center of Iowa in Des Moines the first weekend each month.
