Phil Collins, born January 30, 1951, is an English drummer, songwriter, and singer. Phil was, prior to his solo career, best known as a member of the band Genesis. He was with the band throughout the 70s, before debuting his solo album, ‘Face Value,’ in 1981. On the album was one of his most well-known songs, ‘In The Air Tonight.’ 

After leaving Genesis, the singer had a successful solo career and even partnered with Disney. He wrote music, lyrics, and performed songs for titles such as ‘Tarzan’ and ‘Brother Bear.’ He has been married three times, and is the father of five children, including actress Lily Collins. In 2022, Phil performed with Genesis for the final time, citing a previous spinal injury as his reason for not continuing as a performer.
