Between 2018 and 2012, DLF Ltd invested millions of dollars into Sky Light. In 2012, DLF paid $9.7 million for the land Vadra purchased just four years earlier for $1.3 million. Sky Light also paid $5.3 million for a 50% stake in a hotel being built by DLF in New Delhi. Sky Light’s stake was worth $17 million when the hotel was valued at $33 million after four years, resulting in a 3x return.
